Digital & AI Fluency for the Malaysian Workforce is a foundational training program designed to equip Malaysian workers with the essential digital and artificial intelligence knowledge required to remain relevant in an increasingly technology-driven economy. The program focuses on building confidence, understanding, and practical awareness of how AI and digital tools are reshaping everyday work across industries.
Rather than technical implementation, the course emphasises digital literacy, AI awareness, and practical application in common workplace tasks such as communication, coordination, information handling, and decision-making. Participants gain clarity on how AI supports — rather than replaces — human roles, and how individuals can collaborate effectively with AI tools to improve productivity and work quality.
Through practical examples and guided learning, participants develop the mindset and foundational skills needed to adapt to digital transformation, reduce displacement risk, and prepare for further upskilling in AI-enabled roles. This program supports workforce readiness by strengthening digital confidence and fostering a culture of continuous learning aligned with Malaysia’s future workforce needs.
This program is uniquely designed based on data of impact study on jobs in malaysia, directly targeting job roles most exposed to automation such as clerks, administrative assistants, HR support staff, coordinators, operators and retail/service frontliners. Unlike typical AI training that focuses mainly on software tutorials, this course develops transferable skills in AI literacy, prompt strategy, digital communication, document generation, workflow assistance and safe AI practices using only a minimal, accessible toolset. The content is fully customised for non-technical workers and incorporates sector-specific scenarios from six high-impact industries, ensuring it is relevant and immediately applicable. Each learning outcome is mapped to real upskilling and reskilling pathways that help participants retain or transition into AI-enabled roles. The program concludes with a practical capstone where participants redesign an actual workplace task using AI, demonstrating measurable improvement and ensuring true capability development rather than theoretical exposure.
